Customer skill improvement

Contractors must constantly improve their technical and business skills in order to master new technologies, enter new markets and meet their customers' increasingly specific demands. In response to this need, Rexel provides information areas in its branches or sites, organizes training sessions in partnership with suppliers, and supports them in preparing for their professional certifications.

Each year, Rexel also organizes an event that enables its customers to learn about the latest trends and access solutions in order to develop their expertise in high value-added markets.

Rexel Expo 2017 in Paris
In 2017, Rexel Expo was dedicated to connected devices in the residential, commercial and industrial markets: over 90% of exhibitor stands featured smart objects and solutions. The event received 14,000 visitors. Information aimed at contractors was increased in order to help them acquire or strengthen their knowledge of solutions such as home automation, energy efficiency and multi-energy.

Rexel Expo 2018
In 2018, Rexel organized two regional events, in Lyon and Montpellier, designed to appeal to a large number of local customers and modelled on the event held in Paris in 2017. The two events attracted 8,000 visitors.

Rexel Expo 2019
In 2019, Rexel Expo took place at the Porte de Versailles event center in Paris. Featuring the themes of “Rexel is easy,” “Rexel is connected,” and “Rexel is services,” this event showcased proximity, projects and specialty services in the residential, commercial and industrial markets. For the first time, Rexel's European customers and colleagues will also take part in this event.
